Smile Taipei Photo Collection at Taipei Pavilion

To promote the Pavilion of Taipei to the public, the MICE Industry Development Foundation of Taipei is holding a photo exhibition dubbed “Smile Taipei” among other related activities starting April 28.

Between April 28 and May 12, a group of “smiling correspondents” comprising Flower Fairies and charming ladies will appear at various locations across the city to pose for pictures with onlookers and distribute “Smile Cool Cards.” The first 1,500 card carriers to visit Pavilion of Taipei by June 24 will receive a limited edition souvenir.

The “correspondents” will visit places such as Shilin Night Market, Taipei Main Station Metro Hall, East Metro Hall, the plaza in front of MRT Ximen Station Exit 6, Shida Arts Park, as well as Yuanshan Park Corridor Area.

In addition, those visiting Pavilion of Taipei between April 28 and June 23 and casting their vote for their favorite “smiling correspondent” will have a chance of winning a Taipei 101 romantic candlelight dinner voucher!

Photos taken with the smiling correspondents will be showcased at the Smile Taipei exhibition starting June 24 at the Pavilion. A documentary titled “2012 Let’s Smile in Taipei” will also be shown at the venue, recounting the moments of fun and beauty in the city.
